Moving away from literal artwork of the sun today, and moving into a metaphorical realm. The Hawthorn flower is wonderful. Not only is it beautiful and exquisitely scented, it is powerful medicine, especially for the heart. I gather and dry it for tea and to infuse my brewed kombucha. Today, I take you on my journey as I collect the flower, and then through the process of creating an oil painting as well. I surprised myself at how this artwork evolved, quickly and precisely, in a state of energetic flow. I hope that you enjoy today’s process.
